Preliminary project
The transformation of a rural building into a modern dwelling immersed in nature, in a respectful dialogue with the territory and tradition.
The project takes shape from the meeting of two guiding lines, traced by stone-clad load-bearing walls, which give rise to the three main bodies: the living area, the sleeping area, and the service core.
These two lines delimit and close the building to the outside, while inside, large windows and a system of shading panels reveal and open the spaces to light and the landscape.
The living area and the sleeping area are arranged orthogonally to the internal courtyard, creating a harmonious balance between the environments.
A second, intimate courtyard, set in the living area, uses nature as a connecting and separating element.
The materials, although proposed in a modern key, are those of rural tradition.
Particular attention has been paid to energy and plant efficiency, to ensure sustainable living comfort in harmony with the surrounding environment.
